I’m Arun, a Graphic & Motion Designer generalist based in Vancouver, Canada.

I’m passionate about bringing stories, brands, and products to life through static and motion visuals. My diverse design background gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to deliver efficient and impactful work.

Outside my home studio, I stay active with outdoor adventures—hiking, biking, or working out with Apple Fitness.

I’m also fueled by a love for learning- currently exploring Rive, an interactive motion design tool, Blender, an open source 3D animation tool, along with Spanish, Photography, and Swimming.

Work Experince

Motion Designer - Klue  (2022 - 2024)

• Created motion design for Klue's product, launch campaigns, and website product pages.
• Developed a comprehensive motion design system, including UI abstractions, testimonial videos, and social media-focused video campaigns.
• Conceptualized and animated ads for various marketing campaigns.
• Designed and animated video intros, templates, and ads for 10 Klue original podcasts.

Freelance Motion Designer (2018 - 2022)

• Designed and executed a range of motion graphics pieces for The Still Brandworks.
• Worked on multiple video and motion design projects for Tiller Digital, contributing to creative campaigns for their clients
• Achieved 13 first-place wins and 25 runner-up placements in design contests on 99designs.com, covering categories like infographics, flash banner ads, and illustrations.
• Created brand and web design materials for mentor and success coach Louise Lee’s coaching business.

Graphic Designer - Myntra  (2016)

• Designed landing pages, banners, and social media ads for community contests, resulting in over 1 million monthly users and more than 100 million impressions.
• Managed the design and development of landing pages, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across campaigns.
• Collaborated with various international brands to create engaging visual content.
• Conceptualized and designed Myntra Shots Magazine, featuring user-submitted photography and showcasing community creativity.

Visual Designer  (2014 - 2016)

• Designed website banners, email ads, and social media ads, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
• Contributed to ad campaigns across various product categories, driving customer interest and sales.
• Developed illustration concepts for Amazon’s Holiday Styleguides, adding a creative touch to seasonal marketing materials.

Photoshop Trainer - Sri Krishna College (2014)

• Developed the syllabus and crafted multi-level exams for a career-focused 4-week training course.
• Taught students the fundamentals of Photoshop, including software layout, selection tools, retouching techniques, and color correction methods.
